H
Hadley – A quiet, country community situated at the junction of the Hudson River and the great Sacandaga Reservoir.
Haines Falls – In Greene County north of Kingston and a short drive to the Hudson River. Great winter attraction Ski Cortina is a ski and snowboard area with both day and night skiing. Beautiful Catskill Mountains location.
Halcottsville – In the Catskill Mountains of southern Delaware County.
Hamburg – South of Buffalo and a short drive to Lake Erie.
Hamden – Hamden is known for having one of the last few remaining covered bridges. Located on the Delaware River in Delaware County, Hamden is near Walton and Bear Spring Mountain State Park.
Hamlin – Rustic charm, and convenience to Rochester, Brockport, as well as a short drive to Niagara Falls make this a nice stopover spot.
Hammondsport – At the southern edge of Keuka Lake and convenient to Watkins Glen and Corning. Attractions include the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum of Early Aviation and Local History and the Greyton H. Taylor Wine Museum.
Hampton Bays Located on the south shore of eastern Long Island. It is nestled between the Atlantic Ocean, Shinnecock and Peconic Bays; about a 1½-hour drive from New York City. Known for its pristine beaches and excellent fishing facilities.
Hancock – In Delaware County across the Delaware River from Pennsylvania.
Hannibal – Near Fair Haven State Park and Lake Ontario.
Harrisville – In northern Lewis County near the St. Lawrence County line. Scenic Adirondacks mountain community.
Hartford – Located in Washington County near the Vermont border.
Hartsdale – Between New York City and White Plains
Hague – On Lake George in the northern Adirondacks.
Hector – Situated between the Finger Lakes National Forest and Seneca Lake.
Hempstead – Town located on Long Island in Nassau County and home to Hofstra College contains several villages including Freeport and New Hyde Park.
Henderson – On the eastern shore of Lake Ontario south of Watertown.

Hensonville – Catskills community in the center of Greene County.
Herkimer – East of Utica on the New York State Thruway.
Heuvelton – North of Black Lake in St. Lawrence County.
High Falls – Ulster County community north of New Paltz.
Highland – Across the Hudson River from Poughkeepsie.
Hillsdale – Great location just minutes from the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts. Peaceful community with excellent antique shopping.
Hobart – Northern Catskills community just south of Stamford.
Holley – In Orleans County just below the Erie Canal west of Rochester.
Hoosick and Hoosick Falls – Located in Rensselaer County near the Vermont border. Many historic attractions.
Homer – In the center of Cortland County north of Cortland and south of Skaneateles Lake.
Honeoye – Finger Lakes community on the northern tip of Honeoye Lake.
Hopewell Junction – Hudson Valley community between Poughkeepsie and Beacon. Convenient to Wappingers Falls.
Hornell – South of Dansville this rustic community was once one of the largest makers of rail cars for the railroad industry.
Horseheads – Village located in the township of Elmira.
Horton – On scenic Route 17 on the edge of Catskill Park in the southern Catskills of Sullivan County.
Houghton – Allegany County community. Home of Houghton College.
Houseville – In rural mountainous Lewis County
Hudson – On the Hudson River just across from Catskill. Known as the Antique Center of the Hudson Valley.
Hunt – Between Dansville and the Wyoming County line in rural Livingston County.
Hunter – In the Catskills of Greene County near 4,025 foot Hunter Mountain.
Hurleyville – In Sullivan County near Route 17.
Hyde Park – Located on the Hudson River just north of the Mid-Hudson Bridge. It was once the residence of several well-known people, including President Franklin D. Roosevelt, his wife Eleanor and the Vanderbuilt family.

I
Ilion – Only a few miles from Utica on the New York State Thruway, Ilion is a nice spot on the Erie Canal.
Indian Lake – In the heart of the Adirondacks and Adirondacks Park. The Indian Lake area includes Indian Lake and Blue Mountain Lake. A vast wilderness area offers you hiking, biking, snowmobiling, swimming and photographic vistas.
Inlet – In the heart of the Adirondacks on Fulton Chain Lake.
Irvington – West of White Plains and north of New York City between the Hudson River and Long Island Sound.
Ithaca – Finger Lakes city on the southern tip of Cayuga Lake. Plenty to do and see. Attractions include several wineries, Cornell University, downtown shopping, museums and art galleries and boating and fishing on one of the most popular Finger Lakes. Nightlife includes many nice Theaters and excellent restaurants.
Ithaca College – Community and college south on the outskirts of Ithaca. See above...

Jacksonville – Finger Lakes community on Cayuga Lake just eight miles from Ithaca and nearby attractions. Local attractions include Taughannock Falls – part of Taughannock State Park.
Jamesport – On the Great Peconic Bay between Aquebogue and Cutchogue on the scenic North Fork, Long Island.
Jamestown – Near beautiful Chautauqua Lake and a short drive to the Pennsylvania line. Keep track of happenings in Jamestown via the online Post-Journal.
Jamesville – Southwest of Syracuse near Cazenovia and Manlius.
Jay – Adirondacks town located among the high peaks of the mountain range and only 8 miles from Whiteface Mountain. Convenient to North Pole, NY and Santa's Workshop. Great fishing and hiking locale and a short scenic drive to many of the Northern Adirondacks communities and attractions including Lake Placid.
Jeffersonville – In the southern Catskills of Sullivan County.
Jewett – In the Catskill Mountains near Hunter and Hunter Mountain. Currently no B&B's listed here check other Greene County listings.
Johnson – Just six miles from the New Jersey border in Orange County. Just eight miles south of Middletown, NY.
Johnstown – Historically rich city located six miles south of the Adirondack Park and includes Sacandaga Lake - Johnstown is located only 30 miles from Saratoga Springs.

Kauneonga Lake – Sullivan County community near Swan Lake.
Keene – Community located among the high peaks of the Adirondacks and a short drive to Whiteface and Porter Mountains. Convenient to Lake Placid to the west and Lake Champlain to the east. Great fishing and hiking and local shops.

Keeseville – In scenic Essex County on Lake Champlain in the Adirondacks. Located at the border of Clinton County and across the Lake from Vermont.
Kent – Rural community in Orleans County south of Lake Ontario.
Kill Buck – In scenic Cattaraugus County near the Allegheny Indian Reservation and the Allegheny National Forest of Pennsylvania.
Kinderhook – Located in northern Columbia County between Albany and Hudson.
Kings Park – In Nassau County on Long Island features access to Long Island Sound and a quaint Main Street.
Kingston – Ulster County community nestled between the Catskills and the Hudson River. Plenty of outdoor activities and historic sites including the Maritime Museum and the Trolley Museum.

Lacona – Oswego County community near Lake Ontario's Mexico Bay.
Lake Clear – In the heart of the Adirondacks, outdoor activities abound. Famous canoeing region with excellent skiing resorts nearby.
Lake George – Adirondack village with tons of outdoor activities including boating and other water sports. Also a shopping mecca with lots of factory outlet stores.
Lake Huntington – A hamlet of Cochecton, one of the earliest settled regions of the Catskills.
Lake Luzerne – Near both Lake George and Saratoga, outdoor activities galore including hiking, white-water rafting and horseback riding.
Lake Placid – Beautiful village in the heart of the Adirondacks in Adirondack Park - the largest State Park outside of Alaska. Lake Placid is one of only three communities in the world to have hosted two Winter Olympics. Attractions include the Olympic Center with many exhibits and outdoor activities, numerous museums and historic sites and plenty of outdoor activities.

Leeds – Between Catskill, NY and Catskill Game Farm.

Leroy – Located 30 miles from Rochester, 90 miles from Corning and 100 miles to Syracuse in Genesee County.
Lewiston – North of Niagara Falls and across the Niagara River from Canada.
Lexington – In the Catskills near Vly Mountain.
Lisbon – Between Ogdensburg and Potsdam near the St. Lawrence Seaway.
Little Falls – East of Herkimer off the NYS Thruway.
Little Valley – In hilly Cattaraugus County near the Allegheny Indian Reservation and the Allegheny National Forest of Pennsylvania. Convenient to Kill Buck.
Liverpool – Village just northwest of the metropolitan area of Syracuse. Shopping abounds!
Livingston Manor – On scenic Route 17 in Sullivan County's Catskills.
Livonia – Finger Lakes community between Conesus and Hemlock Lakes.
Lockport – Erie Canal village only 30 miles from Niagara Falls. Area is known for lots of fossils and interesting rocks. Great place to stay for visitors to Niagara Falls.
Lodi – North of the Finger Lakes National Forest between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes. Wineries, antique shops and farmers stands abound.
Long Eddy – In Sullivan County on the Delaware River.
Long Lake – In the heart of the Adirondacks. Hiking, fishing and camping areas.
Loon Lake – Northern Adirondacks community with both outdoor and cultural events, such as Loon Lake Live! Summer Concert series.
Lowville – On the Black River east of Watertown.
Lyons Falls – South of Lowville - 26 miles north of Rome, NY.
Lyons – North of the Finger Lakes on the Erie Canal between Rochester and Syracuse. Lyons is the County Seat of Wayne County. The courthouse has been in use since 1854. The Village Square park - deeded in 1794 - is home to many community events, including Peppermint Days festivities, summer band concerts, and a Farmers' Market, held each Saturday from June through October.

Macedon – On the Erie Canal east of Rochester and home of the Amazing Maize Maze at Long Acre Farms. Wayne County community near Palmyra.
Madison – In Madison County between Syracuse and Utica.
Madrid – Northwest of Pottsdam near the St. Lawrence River.
Maine – Located northwest of Binghamton. Quiet community.
Manhattan – New York City. The heart of New York with night-life, historic attractions, and many world famous sites.
Maple Springs – Near beautiful Chautauqua Lake and a short drive to the Pennsylvania line. Plenty of outdoor and boating activities available.
Marathon – South of the Finger Lakes and north of Binghamton. Only 18 miles to Ithaca and convenient to other Finger Lake communities as well.
Marcellus – Between Syracuse and Auburn and convenient to Skaneateles and the recreational spots on Skaneateles Lake.
Margaretville – In the heart of the Delaware County Catskills.
Massena – Overlooking the St. Lawrence River in northern New York state. Home of Robert Moses State Park and other scenic attractions.
Mattituck – Located on Long Island on the North Fork in Suffolk County, there are currently no B&B's listed in this community. Check nearby B&B's in Cutchogue.
Mayville – Close to Chautauqua Lake and a short drive to the Pennsylvania border. Good boating and fishing spot..
Meridale – Southeast of Oneonta and only 37 miles to Cooperstown.
McGraw – Located in Cortland County, there are currently no B&B's listed in this community. Check nearby B&B's
McLean – Just northeast of Ithaca this Finger Lakes community is convenient to I-81 and a short drive to Auburn and Binghamton.
Medina – Located in Orleans County, there are currently no B&B's listed in this community. Check nearby B&B's
Mexico – Oswego County community north of Syracuse and on the eastern edge of Lake Ontario. Just of Interstate 81.
Middleport – Between Rochester and Buffalo on the Erie Canal. Less than an hour to Niagara Falls.
Milford – Between Oneonta and Cobleskill and only 9 miles to Cooperstown.
Millbrook – Right in the middle of Dutchess County. Small-town feel with the classic, old-fashioned village center.
Millerton – Situated in the northwestern corner of Dutchess County, Millerton offers scenic horseback riding, miles of hiking trails and a large state park. Because of the location, Millerton receives visitors from Dutchess and Columbia counties as well as Connecticut.
Milton – Just south of Poughkeepsie on the Hudson.
Minoa – East of Syracuse just off the New York State Thruway.
Monroe – Located in Orange County, there are currently no B&B's listed in this community. Check nearby B&B's
Montauk – The End of Long Island – the easternmost point of New York. One of the great Salt Water Fishing capitols of the world, is bordered by the Block Island Sound on the north and east, and the Atlantic Ocean on the south. The famous Montauk Lighthouse, built in 1796 displays proudly at the apex..
Montgomery – Originally, Montgomery was called "Ward's Bridge", because James Ward, an early miller, constructed the first bridge across the Wallkill River, which flows northward around the village. The bridge made it convenient for farmers to bring their grains to his mill. - written by Marion Mohr Wild for a brochure commemorating General Montgomery Day.
Morrisonville – Six miles west of Plattsburgh and Lake Champlain.
Mount Morris – Livingston County village between Rochester and Dansville.
Mount Tremper – In the Catskills near Woodstock. Plenty of Fine Dining and outdoor beauty make this a great area to stay awhile!
Mohawk – Just south of Herkimer near the NYS Thruway.
Mt. Vision – In Otsego County 9 miles north of Oneonta and only 18 miles to Cooperstown. Rural Catskill community.
Mumford – A short drive to Rochester. Local attractions include the Genesee Country Museum. Nearby Caledonia hosts the annual Livingston County Fair.
