Your Hosts, Peter & Marcia Syrett, welcome you to their small Country Bed & Breakfast. Situated on 17 acres of rolling meadows, centrally located between the Thousand Islands, the Adirondack Mountains, Lake Placid and Ottawa, Canada, they can provide four-season recreation. Only a short drive to two 18 hole golf courses and tennis courts. Hike on the nearby Stone Valley Trail or take a day trip to Adirondack Park. For the winter season they are close to cross-county skiing, many miles of groomed snowmobile trails and downhill skiing in Malone and Lake Placid. Ottawa, Canada is only 1 hour and 45 minutes away.

The Syrett's Misty Meadows B&B is located in Canton, NY convenient to four local Colleges; St. Lawrence University, Clarkson University, SUNY Pottsdam State and SUNY Canton Tech. Nearby attractions include the Frederick Remington Art Museum and the St. Lawrence Seaway.

Foyer and Staircase

The home was built in 1990 and set up as a Bed & Breakfast in 1997, redecorated to provide a travelers needs. All rooms are equipped with color TV with cable, telephone, air conditioner and clock radio. The balance of the home is available for lounging and relaxing. Extended stays are welcome and include kitchen privileges. An office area with computer, scanner, printer and copier/fax is available for the needs of business travelers. There is Internet and email access and data ports in the rooms. For accommodations, two guestrooms; The Monhonk Room has a queen-size bed and the Mapleview Room has a queen-size bed and a twin bed to meet the needs of a family. Each room has a private bath. The Master Room is available on a limited basis with advance notice has a queen-size bed, a twin bed and a Jacuzzi bath. Enjoy the cozy eating area with a view of scenic meadows and the Bird Feeder Station. Larger groups will enjoy their breakfast in the Formal Dining Room.
